COURT TIME POLICY
All players must be given relatively equal court time over the minor rounds
Relatively equal court time is determined by the number of quarters a player is off the court. A weekly record book has been included with your team bag and must be completed throughout the season. The Committee relies on your accuracy in the recording of individuals playing time to support us when responding to any enquiry received.
A player’s absence from a game due to injury, holidays or other social engagements does not constitute time off in accordance with the policy. A player must attend and participate in a game to have time off recorded against their name. e.g. If a player is unable to play a game as they are attending a birthday party you should not record the player as having four quarters off and attempt to make up this time over future games
All players must be given a minimum of two full quarters during the final series, except for OPEN teams. Court time is at the coaches discretion for OPEN teams in the final series.
The Committee strongly recommends coaches provide all players at least two full quarters during the final series where ever possible. As much as possible you should be fair and reasonable in your approach to court time.
All communication throughout the season will be through your team manager. You will receive rosters, newsletters and other correspondence as needed.
The club newsletters will give you information about what is happening, any arising issues and any events that are coming up. Please take the time to read this as it is our main source of communication throughout the club.
In an effort to save costs (and trees) we are looking to increase correspondence by email and ask that you register an up to date email address that is regularly checked with the club.
Presentation night is normally after grand final day but this may change as our club grows. This night is for all teams, not just those teams who participate in the grand final and is great fun.
Players attendance cost for Presentation Night has been included in Winter Fees for 2016.
ANNUAL NETBALL CHURCH SERVICE
There is an annual Netball church service at St Michael & All Angels Anglican Church, Cnr South St and Military Rd, Henley Beach which we expect players to attend. There will be a guest speaker and supper after. More information will follow.
Only financial members who have played 3 or more games for the club are entitled to play in the final series.
